The FIRE96MF IEEE-1394 FireWire 800 to 400 Adapter features a (male) FireWire 800 connector on one end

and a (female) FireWire 400 connector on the other end, providing a cost-effective solution for connecting your

older FireWire 400 devices to your FireWire 800-enabled devices or Mac® family of products.

Supporting data transfer rates of up to 400Mbps, the FIRE96MF is great for applications requiring large file

transfers, delivering a high speed link that minimizes data transfer time (e.g. transferring digital video files from a

DV camcorder to a computer, etc).

Designed and constructed for both durability and convenience, the FireWire 800 to FireWire 400 Adapter (9-pin
